SUMMER

Image
Hands down summer is just the best season. There is so much that I love about summer I could write a book. One thing that Mitchell and I have been doing is going to the beach a lot. We are very blessed that we can just walked right to the beach from our home. Even with our busy work schedule we try to make it down there even on weekdays to walk, surf or just relax. We have had many weddings to attend, 4th of July, parties, and beach days for Summer 2017. And we also have a new (or two) additions to our family.... GOLDFISH lol We bought two twin (I call them twins hehe) goldfish for pets. I feel once you get married there is this tendency for women mostly that they need to care for something else as well as their husband. In my train of thought it would be a puppy, then a baby! And of course me I have been craving a puppy for a long time. But unfortunately we can not have a dog at our house and we are not home enough to care for the puppy so..... we bought two goldfish to keep m...

June News

Image
The month of June has been crazy fun so far. We had our siblings high school graduation which was happy and sad to see. I just can not believe that they are already out of high school! They are still babies in my eyes. We recently had one of our close friends get married this past weekend! It was such a fun time since we had a bunch of our out of state friends come and stay with us. It was an eventful weekend hanging out with everyone, the wedding day, lots of dancing, and just being all together. It is harder as we have gotten older and having close friends move but this weekend was so refreshing to have non-stop fun with the group together again. We spent our Saturday out on a boat cruising the sea and then Sunday we went to church, ate at Ellies Table, and walked around the Harbor. June has been such a fun month and a AWESOME start to summer

Life Update | IM PREGNANT |

Just kidding. hehe did I get yah?? Life has been crazy recently and usually when I haven't posted here then I always make a life update post! So it is now officially summer here at the house with Mitchell finishing up his first year of law school! I can not believe he has finished his first year. We got married and just two days later he had his first day and time is flying by. Soon it will be our one year anniversary which is SO crazy to think about. Mitchell is now working at an internship for the summer which is fun to have us both on the same schedule. We both have been busy at work and come home, eat, relax, go on a walk or workout, and then just spend time together. And on weekends I work sometimes (yes my dental office is open on Saturdays which is awesome for some of my patients that can not come in the week!) and we have had lots of parties and such. May was the busiest month I have EVER experience in our marriage and now it is finally June. We have fun weddings c...

Athens, Greece

GREECE! I am so excited to share where we went on our trip. Mitchell and I did not get a honeymoon trip so I decided that we would go on one during his spring break.  This was my first international trip that I planned and boy was it AMAZING. Greece has always been a dream of mine to go ever since I watched Mama Mia, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and of course all the Pinterest pictures.  We booked our tickets with SwissAir and let me just say that airline was incredible. They were so nice, the plane ride was relaxing, food was delicious and just was a pleasant experience. We flew into Switzerland and had a layover then from there flew into Athens (it was around 21 hours of traveling). From there we spent just one day being tourist and exploring the city. Honestly you just need one day there in my opinion. Here is what we did... We stayed at the Electra Hotel. This hotel was amazing since it was right on...

And our surprise trip was to...

Travel, Travel, Travel

Image
I have always had the traveling bug in me, and with being young, no money, busy school schedule, I could never travel. I would sit and dream about places I wanted to travel to and the adventures I would take. One thing before getting married I prayed and hoped that Mitchell and I would have the blessing of traveling. I couldn't wait to travel to places with him and the memories I would make with my adventure bud. (since when we dated we choose not to travel over night places alone)  And now being married I started to plan our Honeymoon once we had a steady income. I am so so excited to leave on this secret trip that I planned for our honeymoon! We leave next week and I thought it would be fun to share some traveling necessities. If you want to see where Mitchell and I go stay tune on my instagram to see! @jasminehadley  xoxo Also this is probably my FAVORITE thing I have seen when looking on the best way to store memories from trips. These I am goi...

Coast of California Honeymoon

Image
With my work, Mitchell in law school, and tight on money we mentally prepared that we would not be able to go on a honeymoon this year. Which was totally ok because doing life together and even just waking up and sleeping next to each other is so new and fun that a honeymoon was not needed right away. So I accepted that we would go on one later in life. Then two hours before we left, we spontaneously decided that we actually would on a smaller honeymoon. Mitchell has school off and I didn't have work so we decided to jump on the opportunity before it was too late.  I have ALWAYS wanted to take the coast of California and see up north so we took the family suburban, threw a mattress in the back, packed up some close and headed north.  It was such a fun decision and praise the Lord we had beautiful weather, safe sleeping arrangements, and a fun travel. I loved every minute of the trip and I am so in love with my cute, adventurous hubby. There is no one more special than h...
