Life Update | IM PREGNANT |



Just kidding. hehe did I get yah??

Life has been crazy recently and usually when I haven't posted here then I always make a life update post!
So it is now officially summer here at the house with Mitchell finishing up his first year of law school! I can not believe he has finished his first year. We got married and just two days later he had his first day and time is flying by. Soon it will be our one year anniversary which is SO crazy to think about. Mitchell is now working at an internship for the summer which is fun to have us both on the same schedule.
We both have been busy at work and come home, eat, relax, go on a walk or workout, and then just spend time together. And on weekends I work sometimes (yes my dental office is open on Saturdays which is awesome for some of my patients that can not come in the week!) and we have had lots of parties and such.
May was the busiest month I have EVER experience in our marriage and now it is finally June. We have fun weddings coming up and that's really it.
Praise the Lord for good health, fun days, family & friends, and an awesome marriage.

beanie and sparkles

//tis the season to wear beanies// falalalalala  this morning woke up to the lovely sound of rain hitting my window, and I couldn't help jumping out of bed and playing my play list of Christmas music with the weather getting colder its now time to officially bring out the beanies and the fun outfits of sparkles  yes I said sparkles, not sequence sparkles my friends  today is reserved for some yummy coffee, homework and my Christmas music  happy day!

Valentines Day Kisses {cookie style}

baking for others is always the best and Valentines day is the best time to share lots of treats  this year I made sugar cookies in the shape of Hersey Kisses and some heart shaped ones these were so fun to make, very messy but that's what made it so fun! they made not have turned out exactly perfectly shaped but its the thought that counts ;) Cookie Recipe   1 cup (2 sticks) of real butter (I used salted) 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons flavoring extract (I used Almond) 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together butter and sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and flavoring.  Combine butter and egg mixtures and beat until fully incorporated.  In another separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients and add to butter an egg mixture in three intervals.  Mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.  Roll out dough*
