Merry Merry Christmas from jay

well its the day after Christmas.. I may be having the Christmas blues since its time to take down the lights and tree but I am going to continue the celebration and say ::Merry Christmas:: // I had the most wonderful Christmas, it was filled with so much joy, love, and fun. Christmas eve I went with Kara on a little adventure to get Mitch something and of course Starbucks, then Christmas eve service at church. I woke up early to open gifts with mom and grandma and then I headed over the Hadley's to exchange gifts. It was such a yummy morning with a delicious breakfast and lots and smiles and laughs. It was the best giving Mitch his gift cause I had the best time buying it, it was snow goggles that are SO SICK {snaps for jay}, and a very studly Jacks flannel. The Hadley's were so sweet and got me such such nice things, even Santa brought me my own little chalkboard mug with the best chocolate at their house, how did he know I was gonna be there... christmas gifts with my girls

{another thing I love about the season is giving} I love to give, its one of my love languages as I have learned every year so far its been the best tradition when the girls and I get together to have a girls night and exchange gifts, we all know each other so well that when we open the gifts we get so happy and may shed a happy tear or two I'm so blessed to have these girls as sisters in Christ, as best friends  and we had a little adventure towards the end of the night to see our friend Kyle to chat and blast pussycat dolls (back to the 7th grade days) cameras everywhere!

wrapping the night away

when it comes to wrapping gifts, I get too too excited its my favorite this year I went for a rustic wrap with brown paper, red and brown paper, ribbon, candy canes and clothes pins all from the dollar tree, so buying wrapping doesn't take a chunk out of your wallet! //Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!!

home-made wrapping gifts

so you're getting ready for a friends birthday and you forget to pick up some cute wrapping paper or a cute bag to hold your precious gift in, no need to fret home-made wrapping gifts are my favorite.  all you will need is: ~paper bag ~wax paper  ~any type of string or ribbon ~scissors  ~cloths pin in this picture the wax paper is already formed. what you want to do it cut 4, 12 by 12 squares then stack them on top of each other. start at one end and fold like you're going to make a fan forward and backwards. then ones all folded together tie your spring or ribbon in the middle so it stays together. you can cut the ends if you would like a cooler design, I just cut mine round.  next step is to place your gift into the bag, fold over the top of the paper bag, slowly unfold the wax paper until in ball form. then make a small hole on the top of the bag (use a hole puncher if needed) once in ball form, take the string or ribbon from the ball and ...
