Travel, Travel, Travel


I have always had the traveling bug in me, and with being young, no money, busy school schedule, I could never travel. I would sit and dream about places I wanted to travel to and the adventures I would take. One thing before getting married I prayed and hoped that Mitchell and I would have the blessing of traveling. I couldn't wait to travel to places with him and the memories I would make with my adventure bud. (since when we dated we choose not to travel over night places alone) 
And now being married I started to plan our Honeymoon once we had a steady income. I am so so excited to leave on this secret trip that I planned for our honeymoon! We leave next week and I thought it would be fun to share some traveling necessities.

Also this is probably my FAVORITE thing I have seen when looking on the best way to store memories from trips. These I am going to make since I feel that it would be such a fun project, but I am pretty sure you can buy them made!

beanie and sparkles

//tis the season to wear beanies// falalalalala  this morning woke up to the lovely sound of rain hitting my window, and I couldn't help jumping out of bed and playing my play list of Christmas music with the weather getting colder its now time to officially bring out the beanies and the fun outfits of sparkles  yes I said sparkles, not sequence sparkles my friends  today is reserved for some yummy coffee, homework and my Christmas music  happy day!

Valentines Day Kisses {cookie style}

baking for others is always the best and Valentines day is the best time to share lots of treats  this year I made sugar cookies in the shape of Hersey Kisses and some heart shaped ones these were so fun to make, very messy but that's what made it so fun! they made not have turned out exactly perfectly shaped but its the thought that counts ;) Cookie Recipe   1 cup (2 sticks) of real butter (I used salted) 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons flavoring extract (I used Almond) 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together butter and sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and flavoring.  Combine butter and egg mixtures and beat until fully incorporated.  In another separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients and add to butter an egg mixture in three intervals.  Mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.  Roll out dough*
