i have found the next mckayla maroney

I have to start this weekend post with my favorite little girl in this 
whole entire world
my little mini me gymnast 
she got silver at her gymnastics 
can you say the disappointed face of mckayla maroney?

my aunt, uncle, and two cousins luke and brooke are my favorite people in this whole entire world. every since I was a little little girl my older brother and I would stay at our aunts house. we would treat us and gift us as if we were their children. every summer that I was able to visit her and breaks I would have I always make my way down to their house. going over there makes me feel so blessed to have them and is so homey to me. my cousins are so cute and crazy and my aunt and uncle are just fun kids. so this past weekend I took a trip to stay the night and watch brookies gymnastics meet. the night was filled of all of us running around, playing games and just being silly. the next day was her gymnastics meet. she did so incredible, im so proud of her! it was so fun being able to make her hair all cute and put all those darn sparkles on. she got overall silver in her level, but she wasnt too fond of that since first place got cool sunglasses. plus matthews get gold not silver....



and the bieber fever begins..

alright so we went to dennys to have a little brunch and discovered the bacon menu. everything is made with bacon from bacon milkshakes to bacon mac n cheese grilled cheese

//tis the season to wear beanies// falalalalala  this morning woke up to the lovely sound of rain hitting my window, and I couldn't help jumping out of bed and playing my play list of Christmas music with the weather getting colder its now time to officially bring out the beanies and the fun outfits of sparkles  yes I said sparkles, not sequence sparkles my friends  today is reserved for some yummy coffee, homework and my Christmas music  happy day!

Valentines Day Kisses {cookie style}

baking for others is always the best and Valentines day is the best time to share lots of treats  this year I made sugar cookies in the shape of Hersey Kisses and some heart shaped ones these were so fun to make, very messy but that's what made it so fun! they made not have turned out exactly perfectly shaped but its the thought that counts ;) Cookie Recipe   1 cup (2 sticks) of real butter (I used salted) 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons flavoring extract (I used Almond) 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together butter and sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and flavoring.  Combine butter and egg mixtures and beat until fully incorporated.  In another separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients and add to butter an egg mixture in three intervals.  Mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.  Roll out dough*
