just because Thanksgiving is over, doesn't mean we should stop to give thanks for the good and possibly the bads in our life.  a quote I came across the other day was about how only America would have a day about buying things we don't need the day after we should be giving thanks for what we have, yes that's you Black Friday  there are so many things I'm thankful for in my life, I could go on and on about my family, friends, the gospel... but sometimes its nice to really think about what the small things add up to. in church a lovely lady talked about how she sat in silence for 15 minutes and just thanked the Lord, not asking for anything just giving thanks  I think we should all take this challenge, to help us remember or understand small things in our life that add up to the big things we are grateful for like... I'm thankful for walking outside and being able to see my shadow, acknowledging that I'm out in the beautiful sunlight the Lord has b

im ever so thankful for this past week even though it went by way too fast all my friends are already on there way back to school, saying goodbyes and all school is tomorrow (ew), im too side track to start my studying, pinterest is getting to me and the reality starts tomorrow  I'm so thankful for such an amazing week of being with the ones I love  long nights, being with my best friend blasting music in my car, freezing beach days, empty movie theaters, beautiful morning hikes, missionary farewells, the usual best friend adventures, black friday shopping, movie nights, thanksgiving food comas and much more so is christmas break soon? ps perks of being a wallflower, wasnt as good as I thought it would be. too depressing in my opinion, but if you want a cryer thats not a nicholas sparks movie go for it  so much for a sunny beach day  mikes showing off his bum dead stop traffic of course we had time to take

They call it Black Friday For most people, it's like driving past a bad wreck on the highway. They don't really want to look, but can't help themselves. Though i never knew what Black Friday was all about. So this year I took the challenge to the have the "Black Friday" experience. Being filled with caffeine, thanksgiving dinner, and some money. My mother was suppose to go, though she said she rather spend the extra 20 bucks then wait in line... so chandler and I went down to the spectrum to wait for H&M, 5 dollar sweaters oh ya. There were so many people though, we were definitely 150 in line. Once we got into the store it wasn't too bad, just people invading your personal space by grabbing anything in sight. But I cant judge cause I was probably the crazy lady that was running around grabbing anything that looked cute. when your getting ready for bed on a late Saturday night and someone is banging on your door, your on  the phone with your best friend in Utah talking about how freshman boys are the stupidest, as you open the door in fright thinking you need to grab a bat cause its a molester, its your best friend, not just on the phone but on your door step. best surprise ever, i was in shock all night. i have missed her, missed us being together 24/7, but she came home early for thanksgiving break. cant wait to spend the week with her and everyone else thats able to come home! thanksgiving break is when everyone is coming home from college Sunday was a chance to get to see most of them, luckily they werent as white i though utah would make them me and another best friend of mine, haley got to have fun driving through laguna, talking about just everything and going to our dear friend michael kimballs missionary farewell talk such a beautiful sunday to see all my close friends and hear michae
