so long thanksgiving break

im ever so thankful for this past week
even though it went by way too fast
all my friends are already on there way back to school, saying goodbyes and all
school is tomorrow (ew), im too side track to start my studying, pinterest is getting to me
and the reality starts tomorrow 
I'm so thankful for such an amazing week of being with the ones I love 
long nights, being with my best friend blasting music in my car, freezing beach days, empty movie theaters, beautiful morning hikes, missionary farewells, the usual best friend adventures, black friday shopping, movie nights, thanksgiving food comas and much more
so is christmas break soon?
ps perks of being a wallflower, wasnt as good as I thought it would be. too depressing in my opinion, but if you want a cryer thats not a nicholas sparks movie go for it

beanie and sparkles

//tis the season to wear beanies// falalalalala  this morning woke up to the lovely sound of rain hitting my window, and I couldn't help jumping out of bed and playing my play list of Christmas music with the weather getting colder its now time to officially bring out the beanies and the fun outfits of sparkles  yes I said sparkles, not sequence sparkles my friends  today is reserved for some yummy coffee, homework and my Christmas music  happy day!

Valentines Day Kisses {cookie style}

baking for others is always the best and Valentines day is the best time to share lots of treats  this year I made sugar cookies in the shape of Hersey Kisses and some heart shaped ones these were so fun to make, very messy but that's what made it so fun! they made not have turned out exactly perfectly shaped but its the thought that counts ;) Cookie Recipe   1 cup (2 sticks) of real butter (I used salted) 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons flavoring extract (I used Almond) 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together butter and sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and flavoring.  Combine butter and egg mixtures and beat until fully incorporated.  In another separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients and add to butter an egg mixture in three intervals.  Mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.  Roll out dough*
