Thanksgiving 2016
Thanksgiving! The time to greet with family and eat till you hate yourself. Well thats my philosophy at least hahah.
This Thanksgiving was Mitchell and mines first as a married couple. I cant express enough how much I LOVE being married to him. It is what I am thankful for the most this year.
We started off the day with a good 5 mile run (sadly we didnt do the annual turkey trot this year) Another thing I am so grateful for is that we live so close to the beach that we can just run right over to the beach and get in a good run.
After we came back home and I stated to cook away. We went to his parents house that night and it was my first time cooking and bringing something for a dinner! Secretly I was really afraid that I would mess up the pumpkin bread and green bean casserole but it ended up all eaten and enjoyed!
It was fun to go to the family dinner as a married couple and just feel so thankful for married and the family.
Like every year I have blogged I always do bullet points of what I am thankful for and here they are:
- I am thankful for Mitchell (obvi) and for our marriage. Every day I fall more and more in love with him and our life together. It is a dream come true.
- Thankful that I graduated and pass all my dental hygiene test! It was the biggest roller coaster of emotions during school. I had to put my life on hold for 2 years, go through pain, suffering, many breakdowns, and also high moments of joy. It was the hardest years of my life and I can not believe still that I made it through! Now just on the job search...
- Thankful for Jesus. I am so thankful everyday that I live for such a righteous and loving Father. The Lord has blessed me in so many ways and I just praise Him for the hardships in life that have made me stronger and all the joys He has given me.
- Thankful for our health and our drive for adventure. It is never a dull day in the Hadley house we always love to go for runs or just plan adventures.
- Thankful for our educations. I am so thankful for the schooling I got to do and for Mitchell to be in law school. It is such a blessing!
- Thankful for our cute little home and that I get to be a little wifey. It sounds odd but it brings me great joy to cook, clean, and do things around the home. I love love love a clean home and cooking for Mitchell. I love to serve Mitchell in that way so that he can focus on school and I can do what I love which is making him food haha.
- I am very thankful for coffee... Always have and always will
