I dont know about you...

BUT I AM FEELING 22
For about a week before my actual birthday I had been playing "22" by Taylor Swift on repeat. If you know me you know how much I love Taylor Swift and how much I love birthdays. My birthday started a little but early because Mitchell came down from school to surprise me! I was running on the treadmill and he called me to come out, I was in shock for at least 48 hours. He is the absolute sweetest. He took me out to dinner and then we got to spend the weekend together studying (I had exams and Mitchell had finals) and having the best time. Then on my actual birthday I had a HUGE exam and class which was a bummer. I went to the mall after to treat myself to some shopping and buying myself my favorite candies at the Sweet Factor. After I got home and my best friends, Hannah and Franny, surprised to me a candle light dinner by the beach. Then later that next weekend Mitchell came back down and we got to celebrate again since my birthday present finally came in the mail. It is a necklace that I have been wanting forever, so I was super happy. It was perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect. I feel so blessed by all the love I have received for my birthday. So cheers to 22!

//tis the season to wear beanies// falalalalala  this morning woke up to the lovely sound of rain hitting my window, and I couldn't help jumping out of bed and playing my play list of Christmas music with the weather getting colder its now time to officially bring out the beanies and the fun outfits of sparkles  yes I said sparkles, not sequence sparkles my friends  today is reserved for some yummy coffee, homework and my Christmas music  happy day!

Valentines Day Kisses {cookie style}

baking for others is always the best and Valentines day is the best time to share lots of treats  this year I made sugar cookies in the shape of Hersey Kisses and some heart shaped ones these were so fun to make, very messy but that's what made it so fun! they made not have turned out exactly perfectly shaped but its the thought that counts ;) Cookie Recipe   1 cup (2 sticks) of real butter (I used salted) 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons flavoring extract (I used Almond) 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together butter and sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and flavoring.  Combine butter and egg mixtures and beat until fully incorporated.  In another separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients and add to butter an egg mixture in three intervals.  Mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.  Roll out dough*
