the simple life of jay

when I typed simple. I mean simple

as in "Easily understood or done; presenting no difficulty."

as in I have found sitting in my room easily done, no difficulty leaving the room

as in I have been up to nothing in the life of jay

except for the runs blasting imagine dragons (okay fine the two runs I have challenged myself to) and church nights. 

I have been keeping it low key this spring break. Usually I am the one that bounces out of bed spring break to go to the beach, do some fun crafts, spa nights and look like a beach bum no makeup and all

but this spring break was pretty simple

the no makeup bum look is still a go though

so you ask why Im not in palm springs enjoying the beautiful sun and pool

well Saddlecrack (saddleback) spring break is super early so everyone is in school hense little brother in school hense no sun for jay and family till Jordans spring break

my friends left for Europe this past week as you have annoyingly heard the past couple posts

so I thought it was good time to have quality simple jay time

soooo what have I been up to?

~watching Gossip Girl from season 1 for the third time. not to pat myself on the back and toot my own horn but I am now on season two episode fourteen. its been so good but now its at the point where little j turns all emo and hates the world, serena starts dating that ugly art guy that is too scruffy for my taste, and chuck and blair and so close but then so so far away. its not as fun to watch when you already know they get married in the end... spoiler alert! 

~ ok wait. this is exciting, I actually got out a cute dress and went to In Cahoots with a group of cute girls from church the other night. it was so much fun, since I have no clue how to do the line dances I just look like the noob in the back swinging her arms in the air like she just dont care. do I mind? no, im not there to impress anyone like some girls that go there that just wanna get hit on by a California wanna be cowboy that has two left feet. and I think its funny, I mean someone has to be "that girl", the girl that other girls talk about after the night ends on how weird she was and start making fun of my immature robotic hip swinging action. all I have to say is you are welcome my ladies, I made a laugh for you guys. 

~I have had the scrumptious chance to spend the evening with some great guys Ben and Jerry, fish food all the way, and now they have a lower calorie one? wanted to feel healthy for the night . you wanna know who says ice cream cant cure anything? no one.

~skyping with my lovely mitchy mitch all the way from Europe. did I mention my friends are in Europe? oh ya well yes they are and I was suppose to go with them... BUT God has a bigger plan in store for me here since Gods plan is ALWAYS greater than yours. so yes 10% of the day is being able to have the pure blessing of skype to chat with his cute face. thank you technology 

~browsing on things I could do when I am older. I have always wanted to be a pediatric dental hygienist but just how cool would it be to be a professional blogger or be a publicist or someone who works on the E channel?? the things girls dream about. I guess if I want to be a pro blogger I have got to have more exciting things happen other than blogging about the new Ben and Jerrys low cal fish food (lame) but dont worry the adventures and pictures will come soon, I just gotta get some inspiration, I have what I like to call a Advenblock like a writers block but not knowing what to do for adventures (yes I did just make up a fake diagnosis but people suffer daily from this) 

and well yah thats pretty much sums it up as the simple life of jay

it has been nice having me time and hanging around, but as we speak of tomorrow is when the cray cray begins with schools, friends coming home for break and studying!
