21st Birthday

cant believe the day came that I turned 21
I want to thank everyone that made me feel so loved with the nice comments and shout outs!
I had the best day! Mitchell came and picked me up, we got breakfast burritos in Laguna and then took me on a mini road trip on PCH. stopping at the state beaches, playing fun music, playing games and so much more! it was such a blast. then we had dinner at Happa Js in San Clemente with the crew. 
I couldn't of thought of a better way to celebrate!
dinner was a funny/awkward/great/yummy time. when ordering my first drink I was super nervous cause I got a "sex on the beach" since well everyone told me it was super sweet and tasted like a Slurpee so I was all for it! and our waitress was so sweet and when she looked at my ID so was all "ahh happy birthday!!!" 
and then I got to have a free beer! 
so through my awkwardness and such I still feel like a little kid but

beanie and sparkles

//tis the season to wear beanies// falalalalala  this morning woke up to the lovely sound of rain hitting my window, and I couldn't help jumping out of bed and playing my play list of Christmas music with the weather getting colder its now time to officially bring out the beanies and the fun outfits of sparkles  yes I said sparkles, not sequence sparkles my friends  today is reserved for some yummy coffee, homework and my Christmas music  happy day!

Valentines Day Kisses {cookie style}

baking for others is always the best and Valentines day is the best time to share lots of treats  this year I made sugar cookies in the shape of Hersey Kisses and some heart shaped ones these were so fun to make, very messy but that's what made it so fun! they made not have turned out exactly perfectly shaped but its the thought that counts ;) Cookie Recipe   1 cup (2 sticks) of real butter (I used salted) 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons flavoring extract (I used Almond) 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together butter and sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and flavoring.  Combine butter and egg mixtures and beat until fully incorporated.  In another separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients and add to butter an egg mixture in three intervals.  Mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.  Roll out dough*
