bye bye summer

I think the reason why it took me a while to write this was because 
1) I dont want summer to end
2)school just started 
3)I dont want summer to end

I had such an amazing summmer and so thankful for al the fun I had. Now the time has come for new adventures and a new chapter in my life. 
Well
I got into dental hygiene school!!!!!!!
I started on Monday and it was great.
I cant wait to blog more about it as time goes on, Im so thankful for this new chapter God has placed for me!

But lets take a step back and look on my last moments of summer..
It was filled with
beach days
movie nights
taco Tuesday
line-dancing
Ashleys bridal shower
lake house days
creepin on Mitchell at work
&& adventures 

Trying to find pictures to post was hard cause well, I didnt take too many (weird for me I know)
I went through this not having my phone on me all the time taking pictures thing for a while and it felt great! But not I wish I had more photos to show... 

SO long sweet sweet summer. It was the best. Summer is my favorite. I will stay strong and not shed a tear. So thankful for the beautiful weather and the fun times and fellowship God gave and now I cant wait for next year ;)

beanie and sparkles

//tis the season to wear beanies// falalalalala  this morning woke up to the lovely sound of rain hitting my window, and I couldn't help jumping out of bed and playing my play list of Christmas music with the weather getting colder its now time to officially bring out the beanies and the fun outfits of sparkles  yes I said sparkles, not sequence sparkles my friends  today is reserved for some yummy coffee, homework and my Christmas music  happy day!

Valentines Day Kisses {cookie style}

baking for others is always the best and Valentines day is the best time to share lots of treats  this year I made sugar cookies in the shape of Hersey Kisses and some heart shaped ones these were so fun to make, very messy but that's what made it so fun! they made not have turned out exactly perfectly shaped but its the thought that counts ;) Cookie Recipe   1 cup (2 sticks) of real butter (I used salted) 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons flavoring extract (I used Almond) 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together butter and sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and flavoring.  Combine butter and egg mixtures and beat until fully incorporated.  In another separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients and add to butter an egg mixture in three intervals.  Mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.  Roll out dough*
