end to a sweet summer
so I have basically been a ghost to my dear blog
these past couple weeks I had taken a fat leave of absence from blogging (sorry y'all). mostly because i was busy and partly because who reads blogs in the summer anyways!? answer: i do.
this past summer has been non-stop fun. this summer has been so so so great to me. like, mind-boggling type fun. Heres a recap in a nutshell, little brothers birthday, adventure days with mitch, beach house with the family, lake day with the buds, Trey is a year old!!! and just fun fun fun
then the Costa Rica trip which posted here was absolutely incredible
then something happen....
school
started this last Monday and you would think I was be ranting on about how "schools such a drag, I don't wanna be here, I just wanna be at the beach all day" but I am not (surprised?)
first off my school usually has a bad rep, well as when I was in high school and you said you were going to Saddleback Community College, all the kids would be like "ohhhhhhhh well that's cute". since well they end up going to those weird schools called USC and Standford and the one that sounds like a fish, Yale?
despite what the tightypants say I love saddleback. it may not be a top knot school but hey its school and here is why
~I have amazing friends that go there. my best friends. and we make it so much fun, I even have the awesome chance to take a class with Mitch
~the classes and professors are so great and nice. this semester all my professors are making class so fun. for example my art class, its America Cinema and the teacher said its a nice time to "relax and analyze a movie" as Mitch and I glance at each other with a smirk #herecomesanA
~its way cheaper, so I can actually afford to buy a coffee before class since well I'm not sinking myself in school loans like most kids, but with dental school coming along I might be diving into those...
~its super close to my house like five minutes or less, my friends and I can just hang out and make food in between breaks and I can get ready for school 15 minutes prior
and I guess it also helps when I don't have Thursday or Friday classes. Hello four day weekends!
Until I start some dental programs and they are on Saturdays... Keep me in your prayers anyone out there, whoever reads this (hopefully someone other than my mom) that my dental program will follow through
so that's where I have been, not under a rock just a busy bee starting up school and still enjoying the beach
I could not leave you hanging so here are some photos through the good ole iPhone of my daily outgoings
good ole car wash for little J
my little brother just turned 15.... 15 he is growing up too fast
how gorgeous is the lake in the morning? i mean come on like seeing Gods creation like that, He is always so great
