a little home away from home

this past weekend my mom and I thought it would be fun to have a little road trip to palm springs to hangout while the weather is nice. both my parents grew up there, I have a bunch of family that lives there and I also was born there! so its always a little home away from home when I go. 

plus who doesn't want to study for finals along the pool side enjoying some oranges hand picked from the tree besides you?

we stayed at my bonne mama house (we call her ma), my moms mommy and got to play with her cute dogs. when I was little her dogs were like my dogs, but as time pasted on, some passed away and she has always brought in new ones from the same breed. let me tell you, those dogs are her children. this past year she has two new little ones. and they are my favorite. it was such a fun adventure going down town, tanning by the pool, night walks, going by old memories like going to dinner where my mom worked back in her youth and seeing the house we built back in the day

we always stopped at the famous Hadley Farm. "Hadley doesn't that sound familiar?" well you're right, my boyfriends last name is Hadley and they started that marketplace. if you are from palm springs you know the Hadley Farm is the best. its best known for their dates (the date shake, hands down the bomb) its the cutest marketplace with so many yummy finds. my family use to always go there way back in the day for all their market food. so basically im famous in the Ptown since you know im dating a Hadley. hehe 

now its time to get back to the biology books and the aloe vera that needs to be reapplied
