day of love

happy valentines day!!
I am obsessed with holidays, any holiday
whenever there is a day coming up worth celebrating I take it and sometimes over do it
I just love to make fun crafts, give out gifts and an excuse to eat yummy festive food
valentines day is on my top for fav holidays 
the day is just full of love, sweet notes, pretty flowers, chocolate covered anything, romantic movies, cute outfits, pink and red, and chocolate (chocolate twice since there is just so much of it around me)
single or not it is a day to show love to everyone. the love that The Lord gives us. He blesses His children with much more than we deserve and one of the most magnificent gifts we receive is His love and His commandment to love others. we know love since God is love
1John 4:11 "Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love another."
ladies my thing and motivation of the day is not to go around all frumpy eating food saying this is the day of hate because I don't have a boy toy to snuggle up with and be all lovey dovey with but to simply   put your heart in the hands of the Lord he will place it in the hands of a man that eternally deserves it 
how comforting is that? so today is full of love to everyone!!!!
and don't be that girl in my bio class this morning wearing all black wishing she could hide in a whole for the rest of her life... its a holiday lady I think you will survive 

i hate to push this in here but...
I have the cutest valentine ever! Mitch is so adorable and made my valentines day so wonderful. what a babe. pictures will be up tomorrow!

SUMMER

Hands down summer is just the best season. There is so much that I love about summer I could write a book. One thing that Mitchell and I have been doing is going to the beach a lot. We are very blessed that we can just walked right to the beach from our home. Even with our busy work schedule we try to make it down there even on weekdays to walk, surf or just relax. We have had many weddings to attend, 4th of July, parties, and beach days for Summer 2017. And we also have a new (or two) additions to our family.... GOLDFISH lol We bought two twin (I call them twins hehe) goldfish for pets. I feel once you get married there is this tendency for women mostly that they need to care for something else as well as their husband. In my train of thought it would be a puppy, then a baby! Spinach Berry Smoothie

a perfect pick me up smoothie is the best way to start off the day here is my spinach berry smoothie jam packed with sweet berry's and lots of spinach I also added a touch of blue agave for some extra sweetness ~3 cups of spinach (you can always add in more veggies like carrots) ~ small hand full of frozen strawberries, blue berries and blackberries ~few slices of frozen pineapple ~some splashes of cranberry juice (you can use any liquid from almond milk to apple juice, I just enjoy the strong flavor of cranberry juice) and that's all! for some extra nutrients to the smoothie adding in protein powder would always be delightful

I have to start this weekend post with my favorite little girl in this  whole entire world my little mini me gymnast  she got silver at her gymnastics  can you say the disappointed face of mckayla maroney? this picture absoltely made my weekend my aunt, uncle, and two cousins luke and brooke are my favorite people in this whole entire world. every since I was a little little girl my older brother and I would stay at our aunts house. we would treat us and gift us as if we were their children. every summer that I was able to visit her and breaks I would have I always make my way down to their house. going over there makes me feel so blessed to have them and is so homey to me. my cousins are so cute and crazy and my aunt and uncle are just fun kids. so this past weekend I took a trip to stay the night and watch brookies gymnastics meet. the night was filled of all of us running around, playing games and just being silly. the next day was her gymnast...
