whats your J-O-Y?

JOY in its simple form, a word that is described as pure happiness, bliss, delight, liveliness, and excitement.

when I think if JOY in my life I think of all my life. the gift of life that that The Lord has given His children. everything I do and every trial I cross over is pure JOY. the bliss of seeing God work in my life. there are always those days and those people that in the back of your head you're like "really like seriously why did you say or do that" but after that spilt second of thinking that, I'm forever blessed to be able to have those moments that build my testimony and make me realize the good people and the not so good people. the people that can always have you come closer to Christ, with the JOY knowing the happiness and fun there good presence brings. they bring JOY through Christ. then the not so good people that help you understand Jesus is in your life and you shouldn't be a Debby Downer to that situation, just a light in that dark tunnel understanding these people need Jesus. the way He introduces new things for me to tremble through to become closer to Him is absolute JOY. He brings me JOY daily, by the minute, by the second! how great is HE.

today I am so over humbled by the JOYs He grants me, some that come right off my mind

~His Word, yes I know its one of those things that is always on the thankful list, but how can it not be? one of my new years resolutions to read the scriptures morning and night. its a way to begin the blessings of the new day with peace and grace, surrendering yourself to the Lord saying this day is all you, for you, through you and I am aiming to please you in every way, and the end the day with the comfort of His love. the JOY having something so comforting, acknowledging we have a Redeemer. His name is Love.

1Chronicles 16:34 "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever."

~the big and small adventures He lets me take safely and JOYfully. from flying over mountains to walking along balboa, everything I have and are able to do is through Him. can not wait for the many more adventures He will put in my life.

~Mitchell. He is my best friend. I am always thankful for him, he is such a caring, fun, awesome, giving, sweet, Chris-like boy that the Lord blessed in my life for many reasons. always having a fun day no matter what, from going on spontaneous adventures to sitting watching episode after episode of How I Met Your Mother. bringing me JOY all through the days.
have I ever mentioned he has helped me try new foods?shrimp and avocado I had never image entering my mouth. now I am up for trying anything, its brings so much JOY! (OK well maybe I shouldn't be too forward with the word anything...)

~my gift of creativity and the fun JOY it brings out of me. okay so I might be a little over-confident with this one, but, I am a believer in the Lord with His gifts he gives His children, spiritual and worldly. one thing I do feel that is a gift is my creativity, I am very thankful for my drive to do blog posts, to take pictures of everything, to redecorate my room, to come up with fun catchy gifts to give people, my writing (improving), and my many other ways of showing creativity through my conversations and activities, I may not be as crafty as Martha Stewart but I could reach that point, maybe...

I am so over blessed with the JOY he grants me. God is so great in all His precious ways and He has my heart completely. JOY JOY JOY
