Simply Jay

So I finally got to be with my Franny pants. And of course we did something fun. We headed over to San Clemente on Saturday night. The San Clemente Outlets just opened up and everyone should go check them out. Especially the bathroom cause its GORGEOUS ;)

Because many think that all I can do is "clean teeth" What most of you don't know that as a Dental Hygienist I am able to do far more. I am an oral cancer screener, injection giver, teeth scalar, probing depth expert, vitals taker, radiographer, health advisor, and yes cleaning and polshing teeth. Also making sure my patient leaves with a joyful smile. As a dental hygiene student I am learning so much. I have never worked so hard before in my life. Having 15 hour days at school, long nights of studying, getting no sleep, and no social interaction with friends has been very hard to adjust to. Though I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I can not wait to help others, to give others a smile they have been waiting for, and to finally be done with school.  Here is a little look into my life at school! 

I may be a couple days late, though I wanted to share the fun and joyful weekend I was able to have celebrating Mitchell's birthday! Sadly I am no longer "older" than him, I was 22 and he was 21 for only a short couple months but now we are both 22. The weekend consisted of : - Birthday dinner with our friends that I put together at Happa Js. Somehow I was able to leave class on Friday at 5:30, race home taking all side streets and then the toll road so I wasn't sitting in the 5 freeway traffic, change at home + curl my hair, race over to get Mitchell at his house by jumping in his arms that I have missed so much, race to get some other friends, and then make it to the restaurant at 7:15! Only 15 minutes late... BUT still made it in good time.  -Saturday participating for the Walk For Life. This is a yearly event where the Pregnancy Resource Center in San Clemente raises money for their clinic that is free to all. This event always warms my heart to share with

I have had such a wonderful week off from school and it was so nice to have a couple days to relax and then head up to Santa Barbara to see my love. I love visiting Mitchell since he is my best friend and we always have so much together. He also is the sweetest person to me and just treats me so well that I still don't know how I got so lucky.  It was a weekend of fun and Halloween festive! Dressing up, eating fun food, and hanging with friends. I am so sad it is over, but I am so happy that it happened.
