some more snow for jay (a lot more)

these past days I had the chance to go up to Utah to visit some friends and go to a beautiful cabin up in the mountains. coming back from big bear I thought snow was so wonderful, the pretty scenery, the cute outfits and all the fun of snowboarding. so I could not wait for Utah snow. the first day I came I was in snow heaven. it was gorgeous everywhere you step, piles of powered snow. then came the next day, it was non stop snowing and walking out in the snow starting to turn more into a hypothermia wonderland. I do believe all Gods creation on Earth is gorgeous, I'm just nowhere near use to the cold snow, I like the warm beach much better
besides all the frozen fingers and wet clothes I had the best time. it was so nice seeing everyone and being able to meet friendly new faces. the plane ride here was a little heart racer. the wind and snow was so bad that we weren't able to reach landing. the plane shook and bounced, the poor lady next to me kept whispering "this is why I cant fly in the winter, we might not make it, oh no this is bad" trying not to giggle I sat back and said a prayer and asked if she would like me to say one for safety, though she was in her own world, as we took forever to get down. I have to say I was a bit frightened for a little thinking"wait what if we don't make it, I must write in my journal so someone may find it and show my family an friends how much I love them.  but we did land, safe and sound, and for the lady next to me? she kept saying "wow how exhilarating"
once I got my bags I had the chance to head over to BYU to see some friends and walk around campus. one thing that I cant stop talking about is the food there. students are able to buy swipe cards which hold amount of money for the semester, my friends have up to two thousand dollars on theres so they had no problem swiping as much food for me as I wanted, which was deliciously dangerous due to endless amount of every food you can think of, plus the waffle and crepe bar and self serve ice cream. my jeans may or may not be a little more snug since I got here...
the cabin we were able to go to was incredible. surrounded by beautiful hills of mountains. the cabin itself was gorgeous, big open rooms with giant windows to look about outside. movie theater, heated wood floors, and so many more cool things. the group of us was so blessed to be able to stay at such a pretty place. most kids went skiing the next day, but a couple of us had to stay back and hangout. we had a blast playing in the snow and hanging inside relaxing.
sadly the adventure had to end today as I fly back home. is it bad I'm kinda happy to get home since I can not take the cold anymore? I have to be at the airport for seven hours since the only way I could get to the airport was from my friend Zach at 5 since he was already taking our other friend. too bad my flight isn't till 1:30. I have to admit though it has been fun wondering around, playing on my laptop and reading, much me time that was needed
here are some pictures from my phone
