procrastination at its finest: scripture style

this week and next are finals week. im usually not the one to procrastinate since I like to finish and get it over and done with though, when you have a ten page research paper on how we evolved from monkeys I have ever write to procrastinate. and I also have my exams to study for. what am I going to do?
sadly, this is how i started to write my paper...
Thursday before class I edited all my zoo pictures hoping my professor will be so enthusticstic with them (have I mentioned she is an overly obsessed monkey lover?) I smell an A thank you camera
BUT
there is still 10 pages of typing to go so I made the cover page and started with the abstract page. done. with all that work I had to reward myself, dinner called for in n out fries and a diet coke. healthy balanced meal I know.
this morning I set to wake up early, and just whip through at least seven pages. half way through one I realized I need some thinking food, berry salad it is. then I realized I had a new recording of Glee, "its only 1 oclock,  I have time to write this paper one hour wont hurt me." and now as you can see, im on my blog, pinterest, and youtube. its 3pm and I'm only half down with page two of the seven I promised myself I would do today. I guess I wont see daylight this weekend.
 BUT
the bright side to me procrastinating is that I had the thought I havent read the Lords Word today why not. I was reading in James chapter four and it says, "Come now, you who say, today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit. Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes." these verses explains how life is short, and we dont know what will happen tomorrow. Jesus could return at any time, we have to be prepared for His coming. So in the matter of our spiritual life, we dare not procrastinate, since our service to God motivates all we do, we shall have no reason to procrastinate.
how can this relate to my ten page research paper?
even though my paper isnt in the biblical sense and it wont matter if I finish it before when the next Resurrection comes, but after reading and understanding procrastination in spiritual aspect, I realized I cant benefit from procrastination it will just bring me down lower and cause more stress (possible I hope not) prosper through to get a good grade. I need to finish productively and thoroughly. frick, these monkeys will be the death of me, but the Lord gives me strength, strength to research these smelly animals...
