things im grateful for today


one: yes i have to admit im a health nut. i have grown up to just love everything and anything like fruit, veggies and nuts. some may even call me part squirrel. i eat a salad almost every day. i never really branch out on different foods so when its too cold for a salad ill eat soup. boring i know. my all time favorite type of salad is any kind with fruit in it. nothing says delicious then a spinach, berry, blue cheese salad. the best part of living by a whole foods is that i can go there for lunch, make myself a salad, and grab something yummy to drink! all within a good price. so grateful for yummy food

two: my little brother jordan. today we just sat and watched tv as the rain came down. through the years we have always been close. were about five years apart. ill admit at times i use to call him an annoying pest that needs to go back to fedex where he came from. how harsh was i???? probably going through my first mood swings then... anyway he is home schooled this year and im at a community college so now we have all this time to hangout. he is my little man. how grateful am i to have a little brother thats my best friend

three: sweater season. sweaters, coats, boots, anything big and warm is a given. i love the fashion trends with sweaters and boots. i use to try to wear sweaters around even if it was like 85 degrees out, though that never worked out since i would get all sweaty and annoyed. which probably makes me so happy through this time since i have waited i dont know A YEAR to wear them again. grateful for my current outfit, tights and a big sweater 

four: the beautiful sunsets where i live can be breathe taking. when ever the sunset is outstanding i always race over to the beach to take some pictures. like most people they are just so comforting to gaze at and just do anything like dinner, hot chocolate, or snuggle with some love ones, my dog in particular of course

SUMMER

Hands down summer is just the best season. There is so much that I love about summer I could write a book. One thing that Mitchell and I have been doing is going to the beach a lot. We are very blessed that we can just walked right to the beach from our home. Even with our busy work schedule we try to make it down there even on weekdays to walk, surf or just relax. We have had many weddings to attend, 4th of July, parties, and beach days for Summer 2017. And we also have a new (or two) additions to our family.... GOLDFISH lol We bought two twin (I call them twins hehe) goldfish for pets. I feel once you get married there is this tendency for women mostly that they need to care for something else as well as their husband. In my train of thought it would be a puppy, then a baby! And of course me I have been craving a puppy for a long time. Spinach Berry Smoothie

a perfect pick me up smoothie is the best way to start off the day here is my spinach berry smoothie jam packed with sweet berry's and lots of spinach I also added a touch of blue agave for some extra sweetness ~3 cups of spinach (you can always add in more veggies like carrots) ~ small hand full of frozen strawberries, blue berries and blackberries ~few slices of frozen pineapple ~some splashes of cranberry juice (you can use any liquid from almond milk to apple juice, I just enjoy the strong flavor of cranberry juice) and that's all! for some extra nutrients to the smoothie adding in protein powder would always be delightful

i have found the next mckayla maroney

I have to start this weekend post with my favorite little girl in this  whole entire world my little mini me gymnast  she got silver at her gymnastics  can you say the disappointed face of mckayla maroney? this picture absoltely made my weekend my aunt, uncle, and two cousins luke and brooke are my favorite people in this whole entire world. every since I was a little little girl my older brother and I would stay at our aunts house. we would treat us and gift us as if we were their children. every summer that I was able to visit her and breaks I would have I always make my way down to their house. going over there makes me feel so blessed to have them and is so homey to me. my cousins are so cute and crazy and my aunt and uncle are just fun kids. so this past weekend I took a trip to stay the night and watch brookies gymnastics meet. the night was filled of all of us running around, playing games and just being silly. the next day was her gymnast...
