hard times//looking to the sky

(can I just mention that I love doing this to my hair, pretty great) In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.  Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.  It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. Proverbs 2:6-7 As I always say on here school is hard, life is hard, things are just hard . The reason I share these little stories is because first, I just kinda like to share how it is and second I know through hard times that I can help others that may also be going through times like mine. I am in this little pit where things are just stressful, school is getting harder and harder, I feel that I cant control my future, and the job search is making me sick.  But reading this verse Proverbs 2:6-7, my icky thoughts were lifted up as I looked to my Father in Heaven. Jesus is greater. He has my future, He is my comforter, He is my loving Savior

The Glorious Weekend to Celebrate Our Jesus

Image
Happy Easter everyone! (yes I may be a day late no judging... wait count that two days oopppps) This past weekend was such an amazing weekend. To celebrate the time of our loving Savior, on the cross, His blood being shed for all our sins, then Sunday, the glorious day to celebrate Jesus risen from the dead! Spring is my absolute favorite time, mainly because it the time we celebrate the greatest act of love ever.  My Easter weekend was absolutely amazing.  Good Friday was filled with a nice morning run with Mitchell and then Good Friday service at church.  Saturday was study day since I had a huge exam that next Monday morning and did not want to study on Easter. I did get to enjoy the beach for a little with my friends to celebrate "in the tomb Saturday"  and then it was Easter day, oh so wonderful. I was at the lake house with the Hadley family. We went to a morning service and then came back to get ready for extended family to come. We made such yummy food, e

with the stress of school (I feel like I share that too much (but its real, the struggle is real)) I have understood how important it is to take a step back and realize, you have a life Jasmine .  my classes have been just brutal, my social life have been cut to a minimum, and I miss all my recorded shows. though, the other weekend I spent it with my lovely best friends and I got to study and have fun. praise Jesus for my sister in Christ that encourage me to be the best I can be and always bring sunshine into my life. and plus we are all in this thing called college together, so we all agree that "the struggle is real"

with having my phone for over three years, the poor thing was just breaking down well then I dropped it last week so that could be the reason why its officially broken so I went through a couple days with the phone shutting off then magically turning back on though yesterday it took its last time before I had to say goodbye {it was more like a happy dance bye} an upgrade on my family's account wasn't for another month so I thought I would be phone less for a month, but then my dad had to switch us on a new plan, which also came with a new upgrade!!!  this happening in one day was quite funny, telling my friends that I wont have a phone for a month and I was going to love it being not antisocial and attached to a materialistic device but that only lasted a couple hours and now I have a new phone and the one thing I'm most excited about is that well first I have sound on my phone since the other one didn't have a working sound button and the camera, the c
