Valentines Day with my everyday valentine

I had the best valentines day. 

Want to know why? Its because I have the best person to call my valentine. 

For Valentines day I wanted to plan something super fun that would be legendary. With Mitch and I being so busy with school I wanted to plan a full day of fun. 

But sometimes things just don't go according to plan, but with Mitch, thing always end up being perfect, since well we are with each other. 

SO the plan was to go to this amazing hike (thanks to the hiking professionals website, yes there is such a thing) in Santa Monica. It over looks all of LA plus the ocean. After the hike, go to dinner at this place at the Santa Monica Pier. 

Well first note, never drive to LA on the weekend, cause it was bumper to bumper in traffic. It made me flustered cause I never drive in that bad of traffic and all the people and buildings and such got me nervous. After a couple hours we finally arrived to the hike, and it was worth the drive! The hike was so gorgeous, I cant put in words how amazing it was. God is such a lovely artist.

After the hike we had 30 minutes to the restaurant which was suppose to be fine since the hike is only 5 minutes away from the pier. Well surprise surprise bumper to bumper traffic getting there. So we found parking that was only for an hour, paid 6 dollars to run to the pier to simply decided to just go home. I was so flustered with all the people and traffic I may of been pretty silent just praying for the rest of the date to go well. And after sitting in bumper to bumper traffic trying to find the freeway, praying in my head over and over for patience and guidance so I didn't flip out and jump out of the car, we found the freeway, with more traffic. After some hours went by, we made it closer to home and we went to this amazing Mexican food restaurant. The food was so so yummy, was it cause we were dying for food? Possibly. But still enjoyed every bite, doing little dances in pure joy. 

So in a nutshell things did not go according to plan, but we still had the best day being with one another. He was the best to be with helping me through the heavy traffic and always letting me know the he is still enjoying the date when I would annoyingly say "im so sorry this is happening"

He is my everyday valentine.

~In life we will always have our mind on something and a lot of those times "the plan" doesn't go as thought. Always know your Heavenly Father has a beautiful plan for you, for His plans are always better than yours.
