Out in the Deep Blue Sea

When I was little, if you were to ask me what I wanted to be when I am older I would of answered
-a mom
-a dentist
-or a dolphin trainer 
For some reason my heart is so fond of dolphins, I have always loved them. They are my favorite animal hands down. It's a show to watch me watch the movie Dolphin Tale I will give you that. 
The other day the Hadley's and I went out to go whale watching, and sadly no whales, BUT so many dolphins. I was like a kid in a candy store, all giddy and jumping around. I have never seen dolphins that close up besides Sea World. I was so happy I could of cried. It was the greatest experience.

beanie and sparkles

//tis the season to wear beanies// falalalalala  this morning woke up to the lovely sound of rain hitting my window, and I couldn't help jumping out of bed and playing my play list of Christmas music with the weather getting colder its now time to officially bring out the beanies and the fun outfits of sparkles  yes I said sparkles, not sequence sparkles my friends  today is reserved for some yummy coffee, homework and my Christmas music  happy day!

Valentines Day Kisses {cookie style}

baking for others is always the best and Valentines day is the best time to share lots of treats  this year I made sugar cookies in the shape of Hersey Kisses and some heart shaped ones these were so fun to make, very messy but that's what made it so fun! they made not have turned out exactly perfectly shaped but its the thought that counts ;) Cookie Recipe   1 cup (2 sticks) of real butter (I used salted) 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons flavoring extract (I used Almond) 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together butter and sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and flavoring.  Combine butter and egg mixtures and beat until fully incorporated.  In another separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients and add to butter an egg mixture in three intervals.  Mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.  Roll out dough*
