Happy Happy New Year


2014 is here and boy did my friends and I bring in the new year with fun fun fun
The Hadley's had a party at their casa with lots of food, friends and of course dancing and some fun pictures. Its always the absolute best at there house! It was such a fun night to be with our closest friends to spread some new year cheer. And a little secret for you all someone may have brought fireworks (cough cough Kyle) and they fired the night, so so cool. 
I am so excited to see what God will bring in the New Year. So thankful for the Hadley's for having such a magical night to start off the new year! 2013 was such an incredible year I cant express in words how blessed and thankful I am for our Heavnly Father and all the blessings from other families and friends that I have meant that had open arms to me and made this past year something to never forget.  Hope you all had a wonderful night!

beanie and sparkles

//tis the season to wear beanies// falalalalala  this morning woke up to the lovely sound of rain hitting my window, and I couldn't help jumping out of bed and playing my play list of Christmas music with the weather getting colder its now time to officially bring out the beanies and the fun outfits of sparkles  yes I said sparkles, not sequence sparkles my friends  today is reserved for some yummy coffee, homework and my Christmas music  happy day!

Valentines Day Kisses {cookie style}

baking for others is always the best and Valentines day is the best time to share lots of treats  this year I made sugar cookies in the shape of Hersey Kisses and some heart shaped ones these were so fun to make, very messy but that's what made it so fun! they made not have turned out exactly perfectly shaped but its the thought that counts ;) Cookie Recipe   1 cup (2 sticks) of real butter (I used salted) 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons flavoring extract (I used Almond) 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together butter and sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and flavoring.  Combine butter and egg mixtures and beat until fully incorporated.  In another separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients and add to butter an egg mixture in three intervals.  Mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.  Roll out dough*
