toasty home-made granola

in the steps of becoming a domestic goodness I have been wanting to make my own granola since its something that I love to enjoy all the time
my goal is to make different kinds every other day to see which is my favorite
so if you have a granola craving come to the matthews house there will be tons
you can make granola with simply anything you have or like
this recipe is filled with things I found in my kitchen

3 cups of oats
2 cups of nuts/seeds of choice (I used almonds, peanuts, cashews, and sunflower seeds)
1 1/2 cups of assorted dried fruit (I used raisin melody and cranberries)
1/2 cup of melted coconut oil (or vegetable oil)
1/2 cup of organic blue agave (you can use honey or maple syrup)
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 tablespoons of brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

~preheat the oven to 300F
~line a baking sheet with parchment
~combine the oats, nuts/seeds, and dried fruit
~pour in oil and agave and stir
~add in seasonings and vanilla
~mix well all together
~spread out on baking sheet
~bake for 30 to 40 minutes stirring every 10 minutes to make sure all pieces bake evenly
~take out once slight golden brown and smelling delicious

some save putting in the dried fruit till after baking but I did not see a difference baking them, just don't get frightened when the raisins swell up to the size of hazelnuts
